  she actually came out in defense of michael vick.

  she said in some parts of the south dog fights are common so we must understand where he's comming from.. well, in some parts of the south people discriminate against african americans.

  i met a childhood friend recently and he told me with nostalgia that he recalled the childhood days as being very pleasant.

  i told him they would be since we were living under the protection of our parents who took care of all our needs and we had no worries about anything.

  it would be like paradise.

  Dilemma - What can I offer my wife if she leaves the witnesses?

  this week, my wife called me an "opposing husband" - because i stopped believing that jehovah chose the watchtower society as his sole channel on earth.. .

  my wife knows about the society, it's flip-flop on doctrines, child sex abuse scandals, including the un, but none of that matters.. .

  she doesn't read the litertaure, not even the bible.. .

  i have just been outed on this site due to my own stupidity, and lost my anonymity after just a short pleasant while here.

  i have been turned in folks, compete with screen name/avatar, by family and i have a ton in.

  it is easy to tell it is me, although i never use anyones names.

  In order for you to be outed someone else had to be looking at this site. You have a right to face your accuser. Ask them if they ever saw you posting or reading this site. If not, deny it was you. Tell the elders someone is trying to set you up. Better yet, are there 2 witnesses to your posting, whats good enough for pediphiles should be good enough for you.

  my best friend showed up where i work to see what's going on with me.

  i haven't called her since she told an elder at my hall that i was falling out of the truth, little does she know i've fallen and i don't want to get up.. i told her i had now done my research and i absolutely don't believe it.

  she said she didn't want to hear my apostate stuff.

  I hope you don't have any family that you want to stay in touch with who are in the Borg. That being said, what I would love to question an elder about is this:

  On the one hand they say that they are God's chanel and that what they say and do is from God, but then when "prophisies" don't come true they say that they are just men and make mistakes. How are the faithfull JW's suppost to know when they are speaking for God and when they are just being imperfect men. Example: Disfellowshipping, is that God's will or are they just bing imperfect men, will that change in the future too. Are lives being destroyed now as a result.

  i've heard about a few studies that show atheists are smarter than theists in some aspects of life- science, maths, etc.

  i'm not sure how true it is though, so let's see how we do.

  how long will the sunday meetings be now?

  maybe this has being discussed already but i was thinking that now that the public talks will be 30mins instead of 45mins, and there is a new wt arrangement, it will stand to reason that the wt articles might be shorter, i can't see the sense of cutting the public talk and wt meeting for just 15 mins from 2 hours to 1.45hours, unless the wt articles will be shorter as well, and the whole sunday meeting will be cut by 30mins, to 1.5 hours.

  any thoughts on this?.
